You can open (decompress) a complete event directory with our software module ZipTool directly in your program directory. Follow the instructions step by step. First start the program WinARace and start the 2D Explorer window. Therefore select the button <Change event> or press the shortcut key <ALT + E>. (refer the figure below)

Select the event directory you want to decompress (opening) from the tree view. You can recognize a compressed event directory at the following two properties:

• You will get in the group "Main" from the corresponding "Event.ini" the current Event status: "Event closed"
• The "Event closing (compressing) button is disabled.

Event decompressing (opening) step by step:

Choose the event directory (from the tree view) which is compressed.

Select the main menu item "2D Event tools / Event opening (decompressing)" or press the shortcut key <SHIFT + O>. Confirm the confirmation dialog with <OK>. During the event – decompression you are updated with a status information view.

In the next step you must enter the decompress directory. You can enter this directory in three different ways:

Choose the directory from a open dialog

         Use the historylist (last ten used directories)

         Enter directly a directory Confirm with the button <Enter>

Confirm your selections with the button <Apply>. During the decompress operation you will get a status window. After the decompress operation you will get this message !
